WashTAB Introduction

WashTAB is an application designed to run on the car wash’s tablet and can be configured to offer multiple Menu items. Some menu items are for Customer use and other menu items are for employee use only. The user password is required to access the employee specific menus items.

Requirements:

Tablet Hardware

• Android, iPad, or Windows Tablet running Chrome 94 or higher. (ICS does not supply).
• Rear camera is necessary to scan barcodes.
• PAX D210 or S920 wireless card reader is necessary for processing credit cards.
• (Optional) A wireless printer can be purchased from ICS to print receipts for Club Purchases.

Software

• WashTAB application is installed on the car wash’s site server. ICS technical support sets up.
• Wireless connection to the ICS network is necessary (contact wireless provider to set up).
• First Data card processing account for the car wash site (site must set up with First Data).
• In order to use the WashTAB at a site, the site must be running a minimum of WashConnect v1.7.5.x.

Install App

The car wash site must contact ICS technical support to install the WashTAB application and set up.

Customize WashTAB Interface

• A custom image may be used as the primary logo in the upper left-hand corner of the WashTAB
  app. If no custom image is found, the default WashTAB image is used.
• Change the color of the background on the WashTAB app to match the car wash color scheme.

Printer for WashTAB Receipts

• Currently, the only transaction that can be printed is a Wash Club purchase because it is the only
  sale that can be completed through the WashTAB device.
• Printer is optional and additional fees may apply.
